Made from heavy-duty, 15.4-oz nylon (49% recycled) with a warm polyester (45% recycled) pile fleece back, our Burly Man Hooded Jacket has a weather-shedding DWR (durable water repellent) finish for days when the forecast is a mixed bag at best. Offering excellent warmth and freedom of movement for tough, cold-weather tasks, the Burly Man features stretchy underarm gussets for work done above shoulder height; its taffeta-lined sleeves allow smooth entry and exit. The soft-shell face fabric is remarkably durable and can be easily brushed off if dirt or sawdust starts to stick; the sturdy main zipper has an oversized pull for easy operation with work gloves or cold hands; and the roomy, adjustable hood has a zip-through collar and an internal drawcord with no exposed ends. The jacket also features rib-knit cuffs and a full roster of pockets: a zippered vertical-entry pocket on the left chest keeps essentials secure; two oversized drop-in front patch pockets provide ample carrying capacity, with the right featuring an internal cell phone sleeve; a large zip-entry storage pouch on the lower back offers additional room for gloves, hat or other go-to gear.

Note:
Patagonia workwear jackets have a roomy fit compared to many of our other styles. Jackets are cut bigger than standard for ease over body and to leave ample room for layering. Men who have a leaner build or don’t wear bulky layers may want to order workwear jackets one size smaller than usual.
